Hey to everyone!

It has been a busy week and as you can see I haven't updated my blog. Still working on getting the hang of this.

I did accomplish to write a short story which I have submitted to a contest. I have always wanted to do some romance writing especially once I retire so I am getting started. I'll let you know how I do. The contest ends at the end of the month and I am supposed to get a critique of it. I'll have to ask Holly how to insert a link so that anyone can read it if you like.

Off to bake some cupcakes for Billy and Bobby;s birthdays.

Billy

Let me take a little time to tell you about Billy.

Billy is my first grandchild and he will be 6 on the 14th.
Billy is also a special needs child having epilepsy. He has had a tough time but he is progressing well now. His speech is much improved and he is working hard to catch up. He is a true fireman in love with "woo woo's" and fireman sam. I have to add this picture of him for you to see.
This was his turkey creations for Thanksgiving dinner.

Comments

I finally figured out how to see my comments.
I'll get it, just bear with me.
To Holly's firend I did post to your comment, but not sure if I did it right.
Thanks for taking the time to encourage me to continue.

Another Day

Well, I have succeeded to upload my picture to the blog!!
Three points for me!!
Still waiting on Holly to have a chance to go other all of this with me.

BobBob

Let me tell you about my heart, BobBob.
BobBob is almost 5. When he was 14 months old he accidently hung himself with a blind cord. His big brother, Billy, when for Mom who had to cut the cord to get him down.
As a result we almost lost him, but with God's will and the wonderful staff at Civista Medical Center and Children's Hospital in DC he survived. He has a traumatic brain injury, but is still a joy.
I will post more about BobBob and all of the grandchildren as time goes by.
